Isaiah Navarro, B.S., M.S.
Founder, Chief Financial Officer
In 2010, at just 14 years old, Isaiah Navarro founded Military Children’s Charity, Inc. (MCC) with a simple but powerful mission: to recognize the resilience and sacrifice of American military children. Inspired by his own experience as a U.S. Marine Corps dependent, (since birth), and driven by a deep commitment to honoring the sacrifices of America’s youngest patriots. What began as a school service project blossomed into a nationally recognized nonprofit that has distributed nearly 140,000 new gifts/toys, books, backpacks with school supplies, baby items, and clothing to military families across the United States and overseas.
Over the past 15 years, Isaiah has dedicated himself to building MCC from the ground up. He’s hosted and attended countless military events, where he often distributes personalized gifts of appreciation directly to the military commands and/or bases that he serves. His familiar face and compassionate leadership have earned the trust of the various Family Readiness Programs across Southern California, where MCC’s impact first took root.
Isaiah deeply believes that military-connected youth are strong, adaptable, and patriotic contributors to the cause of liberty, through the sacrifices they make while their parent(s) serve. His own journey, from a childhood shadowed by his father’s multiple deployments to a successful career in aerospace engineering, demonstrates that these children can achieve extraordinary things while overcoming adversity. As a lifelong military dependent himself, from experiencing a parent in combat, to his parent’s divorce, to becoming the child of a U.S. Veteran, Isaiah has personally experienced the trials and tribulations that many career military families must face.
Isaiah views our military children, not only as supporters at freedom’s door, but also, as America’s future leaders, innovators, and changemakers. As a lifelong military dependent himself, Isaiah’s own journey embodies the potential he sees in every military child.
Holding dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Isaiah currently works full-time in the aerospace sector. He serves as MCC’s Chief Financial Officer and sits on its Board of Directors, guiding financial planning, resource allocation, and strategic growth.
His continued vision for MCC emphasizes:
- Expansion of STEM education initiatives for military youth
- Distribution of curated literacy resources nationwide and abroad
- Emotional and tangible support for children coping with the loss of a parent in service
Isaiah remains a steadfast advocate for military children, blending technical expertise with heartfelt compassion. His leadership reflects a commitment to diversity, nonpartisanship, and community-driven impact — values that have guided MCC since its founding.
