Children Stationed Aboard U.S. Military Installations
M.C.C. distributes the gifts we collect for American Servicemember's children through the Family Readiness Programs set up by the individual military service branches. In most cases, M.C.C. actually makes the delivery to the military installation via donated vehicles from Orange County Windustrial. Alternatively, military units have arrived at OC Windustrial via their own transportation, (see below) to collect the gifts for their soldier's families.

O.C. Network Program
Military Children's Charity, when possible, provides gifts to local military children residing within Orange County, California. This past December 2011, Military Children's Charity hosted the Orange County Recruiting Command holiday social event, where M.C.C. distributed over 100 toys directly to the military children present.
Although we do not have photographs to share out of respect for the privacy of the families we serve, the event was enjoyed by over 100 U.S. Marines and their families. Special guest speakers' Brigadier General David Shuter, USMC Retired, and Angel's Alumni pitchers' Dave Frost and Justin Speier also donated their time to attend and personally speak to the Marines. Additional thank you to 24 Carrots of Irvine, California who donated the entire holiday meal. Lastly, to the Santa Ana Fire Department for delivering Santa on a large red sleigh.

The Richard K. Johnston Bereavement Program was founded in 2010 in loving memory of M.C.C. founder, Isaiah Navarro's cousin, who was killed while serving in the Vietnam war. Richard died when his helicopter crashed, leaving one lone survivor on board. To date, Richard is survived by both of his parents, two sisters and extended family that cherish his memory. Isaiah chose to name this special program for his cousin, to not only acknowledge his service and sacrifice, but as a tribute to the family members he left behind, that they might have closure by the good works being done specifically in his name.
Military Children's Charity provides gifts to the bereaved children at the holidays, back to school time, and on their birthday.
If you are a bereaved family and interested in participating, please contact us directly.
